Description
Fire Tonic is a health remedy made from all certified organic ingredients: raw apple cider vinegar steeped in a mix of onion, garlic, turmeric, ginger, horseradish and cayenne pepper. Based on an old New England recipe, it has been used over the years to boost the immune system, treat sore throats and the common cold, aid digestion, and to contribute to good health.
We use it in the kitchen to make a delicious salad dressing; marinade meats; pickle beets, cucumbers, and beans; sprinkle on steamed veggies; and to spice up Bloody Marys.
Take it straight from the bottle – a tablespoon a day – or mix with honey, lemon juice, and warm water for a healthful and relaxing tea.
We mix it right here on the farm in barrels and let it age for several months to help blend and mellow the flavors.
